Magnesia carbon bricks are resin-bonded bricks made from dead-burned or fused magnesia, high grade seawater magnesia and graphite. Anti-oxidant is added if required. Our control over bonding agents mean that these products are classed as eco friendly in terms of steel production. This material has good performance in thermal resistance, corrosion and spalling resistance. Mag-Carbon bricks show excellent resistance to thermal shock and corrosion at elevated temperatures and are used extensively in Steel industry. Its high melting point and resistance to hydration make it an ideal refractory material. The steelmaking requires extreme chemical, thermal and mechanical conditions that demand a high performance of materials, able to withstand the action of the molten steel bath and slag. Both Magnesia carbon and Alumina Magnesia carbon are able to offer such properties. These bricks are widely used in converters, EAFs, ladles, and refining furnaces.
View SpecificationsAlumina Magnesia- Carbon brick (AMC) is made from high quality Bauxite, corundum, fused magnesia, and graphite. AMC has excellent residual expansion, low thermal conductivity, and better insulation performance than that of Magnesia-Carbon brick. AMC is widely used in the slag and bottom zone of the ladle.
View SpecificationsThese refractories are based on Dead Burned Magnesite (DBM) or Magnesia in combination with chrome containing chrome ore (chromite). Major constituents of these refractories are magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium oxide (Cr2O3). Basic refractories containing chrome continue to be an important group of materials because of their excellent slag resistance (slightly acidic to basic), superior spalling resistance, and high melting point amongst other strengths. Based on the content of chrome, these refractories are called Chrome Magnesia refractories or Magnesia Chrome refractories. These are typically used in Secondary steel refining, Open Hearth Furnace, Rotary Kiln, EAF, Copper Smelters, Lead & Zinc Furnaces, AOD lining and other Non Ferrous applications.
View SpecificationsThese bricks are produced by combining fused magnesia sand and zircon sand. They give an advantage of high refractoriness, good alkali resistance, slag corrosion resistance, spalling resistance, superior refractoriness under load, long service life. Magnesia Zircon Refractory Bricks are mainly used for Regenerative chambers of glass kilns, walls of glass furnaces, Steel making electric furnaces, Non-ferrous metal metallurgy, and Cement kilns.
